This week the BETTEReHEALTH project will join the EHiN 2021 event in Norway. The EHiN (eHealth in Norway) is about bringing the tech-revolution, the healthcare, the clinicians and the politicians together to discuss what the future of health should be. On Thursday BETTEReHEALTH will host a panel. More information on the event and the panel you can find here: https://ehin.no/2021/program/
In this panel we will discuss experiences, challenges and lessons learned related to eHealth in Low and Lower-Middle Income Countries (LLMIC), with a special focus on Africa. The panel is organised by the EU-funded project BETTEReHEALTH that aims to increase the level of international cooperation in eHealth, and inform and strengthen end-user communities and policy makers in making the right decisions for the successful implementation of e-Health. The participants – after a short presentation round– will have a discussion touching upon the following topics:
– The future directions for eHealth systems and digital infrastructure.
– Building capacity and strategic competences for eHealth in LLMIC.
– Experiences from COVID-19 and what Norway can learn from LLMIC in eHealth.
The panel participants are:
Austen Davis, Norad,
Jens Kaasbøll, University of Oslo
Shegaw Anagaw Mengiste, University of South-Eastern Norway
Dillys Larbi, Norwegian Centre for E-health Research
